Hello all!

Yes, it's been quite a while since I last updated this blog, but then again, I haven't been travelling either...

But now the time for travel (and a ridiculous amount of pics) has arrived! I arrived in Japan on Saturday the 19th of September, so I've been here for a good week now and it has been an absolutely marvelous week

The first two days I spent in Kyoto, where I met up with Gen, whom as you might recall is an Australian friend of mine I met during my last stay here. We did the touristy thing and the shopping thing and took pictures of it all ^^

After Kyoto it was on to Osaka! I didn't actually have plans, but I ended up checking out Osaka Castle and tagging along with Gen to a swing dance festival (Osaka Lindy Exchange 2009)which was UNbelievably AWESOME! There were three night of dancing and although I'd never done it before, I danced anyway and I loved it! Also met loads of great people and all in all just had a fabulous time
Most definitely going to look for swing dancing when I get back home!

Then, sadly, Gen had to go back to Aus and I went on to Tokyo! (well, I there was more stuff I did in Osaka, but I'm trying to keep the story at a somewhat decent lenght )

I've arrived in Tokyo last week Friday, but spent my first weekend in Kashiwa with a friend. It's a bit far and quite countryside-ish, but it was nice. And of course, free! ... well, not counting the train tickets to get there XP

There was karaoke with friends and then sleep and more karaoke and it also was much much fun

Went shopping in Harajuku today with Agnes, a friend I made at the Osaka exchange and of course, it was grand. Although very sad that I can't buy shoes here, since they don't have my size! :'( I bought an amaaaazzzing coat though! Can't wear it yet here, but I'm sure that won't be a problem when I get back to NL ><

Well, that's about all of it for now, in a nutshell (yes, this is in a nutshell to me!). Will try to write a bit more if I get the chance and otherwise when I get home! Pics will follow then as well, since I can't get them off my camera here ><

Oh, and did I mention it's about 25~30 degrees here? Mwaha! But it's raining now, so that's nice for a change; and tomorrow I'm sure will be wonderful again!
